Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Eye Mask

blisseyemask
In the realm of eye masks, I’d say this Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Eye Mask takes the cake for intensity!

It includes “three forms of glow-inducing oxygen, antioxidant vitamin C and puff-pummeling cucumber extract.”

While perhaps a little too serious for my tastes, there have been days where I would gladly fork over $54 for the promise of de-puffed eyes!

Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Eye Mask is available online at Nordstrom.com.

New From Kenzo: KENZOKI Marshmallow Mask

kenzoki marshmallow mask

Over two years ago, I told you about the KENZOKI Milky Rice Body Scrub and how it looked like rice pudding yet smelled like something even more delicious: rice steam (trust me when I say that rice steam is delicious!).

Now, KENZOKI has a new product that is softly scented with rice steam: KENZOKI Marshmallow Mask.

I have yet to try this new mask but if it’s anything like the other products in the KENZOKI line I can almost guarantee it will be good.

Suited for normal to dry skin, KENZOKI Marshmallow Mask has cocoa butter and cameline oil to hydrate the skin. I can’t wait to try it!

KENZOKI Marshmallow Mask is available online at KenzoUSA.com for $45.

Because life isn’t easy…

These last few months have been incredibly difficult here at Makeup Bag. Finding out our dad had liver cancer and losing him shortly thereafter has left us devastated.

The initial shock is beginning to wear off and we’re only now accepting the finality of it all.

This realization has left us a vacant, blubbering mess these last few weeks. Our tears have been endless, leaving our eyes sore, red and puffy (and driving our family crazy—our littlest daughter (age 5) finally told us last night, “Would you just STOP thinking about Grandpa already? All this crying just can’t be good for you.”)

Wei East Intensive Herbal Eye Treatment

Looking for a little reprieve, we turned to Wei East Intensive Herbal Eye Treatment. These herb-soaked pads gave our eyes instant relief with their cooling, pampering effect.

Each pad (soaked with a pure herbal blend of green tea, Tibetan chrysanthemum and peppermint extracts) is placed over the eyes while lying down for ten minutes. (Just so you know, we cheated: the first four minutes were purely relaxing, the last six minutes were spent reading our daughter a book with the pads folded in half so our eyes were uncovered—leaving the folded pad over just our puffy eye bags.)

Our eyes were immediately soothed and remarkably less puffy.

Wei East Intensive Herbal Eye Treatment is just $36 for 16 treatments and is available online at weieast.com.

CLINIQUE Turnaround 15 Minute Facial

CLINIQUE Turnaround 15 Minute Facial

For a quick and easy at-home facial treatment, we have yet to find a product that brightens our skin better than CLINIQUE Turnaround 15-Minute Facial.

After weeks of neglect, our skin needed a little TLC and this is the first product we reached for. Radiant skin is as easy as spreading on a thin layer of Turnaround 15-Minute Facial, allowing it to dry for 15 minutes (or longer) and gently rubbing off in a circular motion with your fingertips (or a warm, wet washcloth) before rinsing clean with warm water.

The advanced cocktail of gentle, natural exfoliants promotes surface cell turnover and instantly retexturizes leaving skin soft and smooth. You get the benefits of microdermabrasion without the irritation and stress (or cost!).
