CHANEL Sublimage, miracle of miracles

Julia and Erika in NYC

It’s hard to tell in this photo, but hiding behind these jet lagged, puffy eyes and crows feet is THE happiest skin I’ve had in a long time (and typically my skin is pretty happy).

The night before we snapped this self-portrait, Julia offered to share her sample of CHANEL Sublimage Essential Regenerating Cream with me. I should add here that I’m no stranger to the Sublimage line—I’ve been using the luxurious Sublimage Eye Cream for several months now (very sparingly, as I know the world will come to an end when we run out)—but for the LOVE OF MY BEAUTY BLOGGING FRIENDS, why did I not know how miraculous this product is?!

CHANEL Sublimage Essential Regenerating Cream

Less than six hours after applying CHANEL Sublimage Essential Regenerating Cream, I awoke to skin so impossibly glorious, I assumed I was still asleep and in the midst of the best dream I’d had all year.

Before you excuse yourself to go throw up—let me just say one thing: The price tag of this cream will not deter me; I will sell a kidney before I go another day without it.

(Also, I just heard from my friends at Bergdorf Goodman that a serum is soon to be released. I may as well just schedule the harvesting surgery now!)

Kinerase Ultimate Moisturizers

We have heard wonderful things about Kinerase (pronounced kine (like line)–erase) but haven’t actually sampled the line until this month.Courteney Cox for Kinerase

The products that stood out are the Kinerase Ultimate Day Moisturizer and Kinerase Ultimate Night Moisturizericon, both for dry skin—which our skin tends to be in the colder months. These super-luxe moisturizers contain the highest concentration of kinetin to provide ultimate hydration and improve skin’s texture and appearance. (Be sure to wear sunblock over the Ultimate Day Moisturizer, as it does not contain SPF.)

After nearly two weeks of use, our skin doesn’t quite look like that of Kinerase spokesmodel Courteney Cox, but we’re well on our way. We wake up to glowing skin, and feel moisturized all day long—even around the mouth where our skin tends to be driest. (Also, we feel kind of smug knowing that these are the same products that Courteney uses.)

The downside is that Kinerase products are on the higher end of the price spectrum (these moisturizers retail at $125 eachicon) but if they work for your skin, it’s money well spent.

Up next week: Kinerase Clear Skin Instant Radiance Facial Peel

Stay tuned!
