Sheerin O’Kho

Sheerin O’KhoOur trip to Space.NK earlier this month left us with a sample of Sheerin O’Kho Outdoor Meetings, Wintertime Face Cream.

Even though our friend Julia swears by the Sheerin O’Kho First Class Flight Cream, we had never tried this plant-based brand until now.

To be honest, we like our beauty products to be aesthetically pleasing (in addition to actually working, that is) and our experience with “100% natural” has always been lacking in the smells-nice-and-looks-nice department. Always.

With gorgeous packaging and fragrant essential oils, this luxurious brand seems anything but natural. Dedicated to provide ethical plant-based formulas without parabens, PEG (polyethylene glycol), artificial colors or fragrance, Sheerin O’Kho takes “100% natural” to the next level.

The Outdoor Meetings, Wintertime Face Cream has more than 18 natural ingredients to combat the cold, wind and rain that winter weather brings. With 20.45% active ingredients, rigorous weather has no chance against our protected skin.

Kinerase Ultimate Moisturizers

We have heard wonderful things about Kinerase (pronounced kine (like line)–erase) but haven’t actually sampled the line until this month.Courteney Cox for Kinerase

The products that stood out are the Kinerase Ultimate Day Moisturizer and Kinerase Ultimate Night Moisturizericon, both for dry skin—which our skin tends to be in the colder months. These super-luxe moisturizers contain the highest concentration of kinetin to provide ultimate hydration and improve skin’s texture and appearance. (Be sure to wear sunblock over the Ultimate Day Moisturizer, as it does not contain SPF.)

After nearly two weeks of use, our skin doesn’t quite look like that of Kinerase spokesmodel Courteney Cox, but we’re well on our way. We wake up to glowing skin, and feel moisturized all day long—even around the mouth where our skin tends to be driest. (Also, we feel kind of smug knowing that these are the same products that Courteney uses.)

The downside is that Kinerase products are on the higher end of the price spectrum (these moisturizers retail at $125 eachicon) but if they work for your skin, it’s money well spent.

Up next week: Kinerase Clear Skin Instant Radiance Facial Peel

Stay tuned!

Giorgio Armani Beauty: Crema Nera

Giorgio Armani Crema Nera

The much anticipated Crema Nera skincare line by Giorgio Armani Beauty is now available on their website.

Crema Nera offers three cleansers (mineral cleansing balm, mineral cleansing milk, and mineral cleansing foam), a toner, and a regenerating cream—the prize product in this collection.

We’ve yet to be disappointed by Giorgio Armani Beauty—hopefully Crema Nera is no exception.

See the entire line at giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com.

CLINIQUE Zero Gravity Repairwear Lift Firming Cream

CLINIQUE Zero Gravity Repairwear Lift Firming Cream
After seeing the ads for Zero Gravity Repairwear Lift Firming Cream from CLINIQUE in all the September magazines we had to try it.

This new firming cream contains retinol, whey protein, and vitamins C and E to help skin maintain existing collagen levels, enhance collagen production and lift and tighten the look of skin.

We’re not dealing with sagging skin (yet!) but we love that this wonder cream from CLINIQUE is helping to fight it. The texture of the cream is super moist and creamy—perfect for our skin to drink up at night—and reminds us of Hydra Pure Firming Body Cream by MD Skincare, an incredible body cream that we would bathe ourself in every day if it wasn’t $120 for 6.7 ounces.

Zero Gravity Repairwear Lift Firming Creamicon from CLINIQUE is only $52, and because it’s for the face, it should last us ten times longer than said body cream: BARGAIN!
