Our new friend, Tara, turned us on to an organic skin care line called Eminence. (Hi! Tara)

This spa line is hand-made in Hungary from organically grown ingredients with no artificial coloring or fragrances (you like it already, don’t you?) and has won the hearts of stars like Alicia Silverstone, Goldie Hawn and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

The product we had to try first is their award-winning Herbal Eye Makeup Remover. With cucumber, lavender and chamomile, this extra gentle, non-greasy makeup remover is perfect for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. (We should note here that while this removes regular mascara with ease, waterproof mascara takes some extra work.)

The scent of this product is divine (we’re a sucker for lavender), but we are totally enchanted by the flat-top pump dispenser. A quick flip of the lid and 2 gentle presses with a cotton round is all it takes. We don’t even have to lift the container from its place on the bathroom counter.

No more lingering clumps two days later or having to forego the waterproof formula altogether because the thought of having to remove it at the end of the day is just more work than it’s worth.

Nope, not anymore.

Shiseido The Skincare Instant Eye and Lip Makeup Remover removes the most stubborn waterproof mascaras and it’s incredibly gentle. No rubbing or pulling is necessary, which means more lashes on your lids and less on the bathroom counter.

If you haven’t tried this one yet, it’s definitely worth giving a whirl.

Stila Petal Infusions Eye Makeup Dissolver is the perfect way to remove eye makeup at night.

Formulated with rosewood oil and lavender oil these saturated pads are quick, easy, and, in addition to dissolving all traces of makeup, help to reduce puffiness and soothe redness and irritation around the sensitive eye area.

Just swipe once or twice over one eye, turn the pad over and repeat on the other side. So easy!

Also, there’s nothing like the scent of lavender to soothe and relax at the end of a crazy day.
