Going down at the hands of buffing cream

Cosmedicine Medi-MorphosisWe need help. Professional help.

It is nearly impossible for us to walk by a new exfoliator without our mouth watering, seeing bright flashes of light and not being able to think straight until we have the coveted product safely in our shopping bag, receipt included.

We try to talk ourself out of it, “Hi self! Why do you want another exfoliating cream? There’s 17 different varieties of this stuff at home in the drawer. And the tubes are all full! By the way, great lip gloss.”

We even get stern because flattery is getting us nowhere, “I am not kidding, self. Step. Away. From. The. Exfoliator.”

But it’s really no use. We’re whipped.

Our latest transgression involved a product by Cosmedicine, a division of Klinger Advanced Aesthetics sold exclusively in Sephora since July, which claims to have special powers. Okay, not really special powers, but special “stop-action crystals” which adjust to the needs of your skin, eliminating the chance of overdoing it. How cool is that?

So we tried it this morning, and IT’S TRUE! They ADJUST! As you gently massage this exfoliator into your skin, the “stop-action crystals” slowly dissolve and leave you with smooth, bright, luminous skin. Totally worth the forty bucks.

Exfoliant! At the drugstore!

Biore Pore Minimizing Refining ExfoliatorWe have a little thing for exfoliants.

Maybe its the instant gratification of feeling fresh-faced, buffed, smoothed, exfoliated.

And even though we have our favorites, there’s always room in our cabinets for more beauty products. (Well, maybe not our cabinets, but definitely our hearts. There’s always room in our hearts for more beauty products.)

We picked up this Biore Pore Minimizing Refining Exfoliator at the drugstore the other day, and while it’s definitely not gentle enough for everyday use, it has a delightful green apple scent and is non-comedogenic, hypo-allergenic and oil-free.

The tiny granules are LIGHTLY massaged into your face for 2 minutes (if you can stand it!) and you’re left with beautiful, polished, vibrant skin!

Twice a week will do you wonders.

Because we all want to glow

Laura Mercier Face Polish

We all know the benefits of regular exfoliating, but nothing makes our skin glow more than Laura Mercier’s Face Polish. While it is gentle enough to use everyday, our skin prefers the once-every-three-days regimen, which makes this 3.5 oz tube last FOREVER (a little goes a long way, girls.)
