We have been waiting for the new MAC Starflash collection to hit counters because we’re dying to get our hands on Smoke & Diamonds , a frosty dirty taupe shadow.

We’ve heard mixed reviews on its greatness, but we’ve never met a Taupe we didn’t like (especially a dirty one. Ha!) so disappointment seems unlikely.

Last month we told you about the gorgeous new palette from the Bobbi Brown Mauve collection and it’s now available at Nordstrom.

We’re never disappointed with Bobbi palettes, but this one is just exceptionally perfect. The Mauve Blush is so gorgeous, we’ve used it every day since receiving our sample. Even though our complexion is on the lighter side, this deep mauve blush looks amazing on our skin.

Unlike most pressed powders that are pressed into traditional metal pans, MAC Minerlize Skinfinish is moulded onto small terracotta tiles and baked for 24 hours, allowing for a sheer, light application.

This unique powder contains vitamin A and E derivatives, which help buffer the skin from environmental aggression and jojoba oil, which calms and soothes the skin.

The Natural portion of the duo will provide a dimensional yet natural matte-finish, while the shimmer portion will add buffed-up highlights to cheeks and brows.
