I am obsessed with this sparkly purple masterpiece of a polish. In the bottle, it looks like a fully-loaded opaque purple but the formula itself is relatively clear so the polish gives a mere dusting of its shimmering purple goodness. This would be the perfect way to liven up my beloved Sephora by OPI Metro Chic, a flat, grayed out lavender.

This gorgeous creamy pale grey taupe nail polish from the MAC Cosmetics Love Lace Collection looks striking on my nails.

It has a slight lavender undertone yet appears vibrant and crisp.

The only problem? This mani lasted just ONE DAY.

Bree and Bailey both warned me about the ridiculous cracking and chipping they experienced when they had tried this shade last week.

I was certain a good topcoat would remedy the cracking but no such luck. Oh well, it was pretty while it lasted!

All these holiday looks this week have put me in a festive mood!

No nail color says ‘holidays’ more than clear, Christmas red. I love this creamy red from Sally Hansen’s Diamond Strength No Chip Nail Color Holiday Collection. It has the tiniest gold flecks that can only be seen in direct sunlight (or with the camera flash).

And I can’t sign off without mentioning the fun ring that I got at Forever21 for just THREE DOLLARS! That store has the best cheap accessories, I swear.
