I love Escada’s seasonal scents – I’m not deterred by the fact that each release usually smells eerily similar to its predecessor – I anxiously await the first sniff just the same!

I have to say, the pink and purple bottle of this year’s rendition just may be the prettiest one yet!

I’ll admit it: the sleek, square shape of this bottle caught my eye long before I read the description of the potion it hides inside, but now I’m definitely intrigued.

The newest fragrance creation from MAC “starts off green then bursts into a flowery bouquet of freesia, black violet and magnolia petals. Sashays into a rich warm amber and balmy vetiver.”

MAC Creation Hue Fragrance is available from Nordstrom for $25.

I cannot take my eyes off this strikingly unique and utterly gorgeous bottle. It’s kind of reminiscent of a Thierry Mugler design, but it has its own unique flair. While I love it for its looks alone, I am beyond curious about the cerulean treasure it houses: The fragrance boasts top notes of Mandarin Italian, Blackcurrant Buds, Sparking Aldehydes with mid notes of Narcisse Absolute, Clove Absolute, Sheer Jasmin, Myrrh Oil and base notes of Ylang Ylang, Vanilla Absolute, Vetivert Haitian and Cashmere Musk in a blend that inspires hope.

Have I been completely living under a rock? The release of a Smashbox fragrance hasn’t even been on my radar this season – now I find out that there’s not only a fab fragrance, but a rollerball?

With top notes of “fragrant cloud rose, blue violet, middle notes of blushing gardenia, sand jasmine and hints of nutmeg, mace and clove, and a dry down of precious musk, hint of marzipan, creamy vanilla,” it sounds nothing short of blissful – will have to give this one a whirl ASAP!
