Maybe this is old news, but I am in LOVE with this fragrance!

I was walking through Nordstrom recently when this sample was thrust at me as I was trying to make a beeline toward the shoes. I politely sniffed the strip the woman handed me and was instantly enamored. The scent was musky, floral, sweet, fruity and warm, all at the same time. The depth and complexity amaze me still – this fragrance is femininity wrapped into a bottle and I could NOT possibly love it more.

I’m a die-hard Flowerbomb fan, so whenever a new variation is released I’m always dying to find out if it measures up to the original.

This one sounds divine in a summery sort of way: according to Sephora, “the scent opens with top notes of tangerine, bergamot, tea, and pink pepper. Lily of the Valley, freesia, and Centifolia Rose create the floral heart. A base of amber and patchouli provides a compelling anchor.”

I must admit that while I wasn’t entirely thrilled with the new Sex and the City 2 movie (I was a little let down by the far-reaching Abu Dhabi plot and ho-hum Carrie/Mr. Big relationship), I am completely enamored with Sarah Jessica Parker’s SJP NYC fragrance.

This new scent is described as a “sophisticated fruity floral” with notes of strawberry, gardenia and the creamy musks that SJP is known to have in all her scents.

I love how the bright, happy packaging is a collision of patterns and colors in a reusable canister.

I don’t even care that I am completely judging a book by its cover, especially when the “cover” looks like this!

I love the tapered, modern shape of this white and purple masterpiece – it’s so contemporary it practically doubles as décor! Plus, it contains a “delicate floral fragrance with a freshness in the top notes.” Guess I know what’s on my wish list for spring!
