You know that ecstatic feeling you got as a child when you broke into a new set of crayons or pastels? I spotted this Smashbox Eye Light Waterproof Eye Highlighter and Brush #34 on QVC’s website this morning and was instantly intrigued – this liner isn’t navy, black, brown or gray – it’s LIGHT!

Upon further examination, I realized it’s that way for a reason; this pearlescent pot is meant to impart eyes with a bright, white quality, in a subtler, more ethereal way than sporting white liner on the inner rims of your eyes.

Better yet, it comes with one of my all-time favorite brushes, so you really can’t go wrong. Why didn’t someone think of this sooner?

I am ridiculously intrigued by this new Ink for Eyes eyeliner from Urban Decay.

Not a pencil but not a gel, it boasts a true cream formula that allows ample time for smoking and smudging, all without skipping or dragging. Its secret is Nylon 12, an innovative ingredient that absorbs excess oil while helping to create a smooth, soft line.

I can’t even tell you how excited I am about this new addition to Lancôme’s excellent array of liner offerings. (Almost as excited as I am about their new Hypnôse Drama mascara, but I’ll save that post for another day!)
