It’s a rare day when I can resist a Shimmer Brick, but my willpower for this NEW Beach Shimmer from Bobbi Brown seems to be waning at an alarming rate, even for me!

While other varieties lend looks from candlelit sheen to a soft rose radiance, the mixture of colors and soft shimmer in this one appear to really lend that enviable “day-at-the-beach-glow.” I can’t possibly think of a better illuminator for summer!

Lancôme re-launched this in the summer 2007 and it’s back again for a limited time.

I love the generous size and tropical bamboo etching. I’m adamant that a girl can never own too many bronzers, as each one imparts a slightly different mix of rosy or tawny shades. This one appears as though it would offer the perfect sun-kissed peach tan – must try it ASAP!

The summer sun hasn’t quite made its appearance, but if you need something to tide you over until it emerges, this little set just might fit the bill!

I’m most curious about the Faux Tan Matte bronzer it contains: I’m a huge fan of Faux Tan, but think the original version is relatively matte in the first place, so I have no idea how much flatter Bare Escentuals was able to make it. In addition to the bronzer, the set includes a Natural Lipgloss in Citrus Tart and a Light Stroke Fan Brush.

I am no slouch in the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick department – I just can’t seem to get enough of them.

The newest addition to the collection comes just in time for spring, and this one’s pink and peach goodness is the perfect  complement to my skin tone. The peachy tones brings warmth to my face while brightening up my cheeks just a pinch!
