Daily Beauty: Urban Decay Lip Love

Since sampling Urban Decay Lip Love lip gloss several months ago for the first time, I have burned through more tubes than I care to admit.

The subtle honey flavor and non-sticky formula make this the perfect lip gloss for people like me that lick off their gloss and re-apply several thousand times a day. Also, the vitamin C and collagen-enriched formula leaves lips kissably soft while feeling and tasting great. (A bonus for your makeout partner!)

Urban Decay Lip Love comes in five shades and is available online at UrbanDecay.com for $16.

Daily Beauty: Cartier de Lune

Last month Cartier, the renowned French jeweler and watchmaker, introduced their newest fragrance Cartier de Lune, a “floral fragrance full of moonlight.”

Cartier perfumer Mathilde Laurent created this delicate scent with notes of pink pepper, juniper berries, honeysuckle, lily of the valley and some musky/woody base notes.

Like a bouquet of flowers picked in the moonlight, this fragrance is soft and romantic and hopelessly pretty.

Cartier de Lune Eau de Toilette is available online at Nordstrom.com for $75-$98.

Daily Beauty: Tangle Teezer

Janey has baby fine hair that tangles up in the messiest knots. Brushing her hair each morning has become such a nightmare that one of us usually ends up crying.

Thankfully, Santa Claus is a kind and thoughtful (and jolly!) old man and he treated Janey to a Tangle Teezer in her stocking this year.

It seems like such a simple concept, with finely placed teeth and a clean design—but it totally works. The Tangle Teezer easily slips through Janey’s tangles and leaves her hair silky soft. She actually likes brushing her hair now!

Santa bought Janey’s Tangle Teezer at Regis, but it’s also available at Sally Beauty for $9.99.

Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray

Everyone has heard that spritzing your face with a few pumps of hair spray before a big night out is a foolproof way to keep your makeup looking great into the wee hours of the night, but really, who wants to do that?

I think I’ll skip misting my skin with alcohol-based, sticky hair spray (not to mention the taste that will linger on my lips all night–yuck!) and instead opt for All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray.

I have high hopes for this one from Urban Decay: it’s allergy tested, dermatologist tested, and free of oil, parabens and fragrance. Plus, this just seems like an entirely appropriate product for Urban Decay, no?

Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray is available from Sephora for $29.
