When people talk, Urban Decay listens

Holy smoked oysters, have you seen the new Urban Decay eye shadows?

Urban Decay

Urban Decay

Six amazing new colors are now available, thanks to suggestions and requests from Urban Decay customers (read: US!).

We’ve ordered Sellout and Stray Dog because we’re neutral like that, and Flash because it will look hot with our new t-shirt.

The other new shades are Flipside (electric teal with blue sheen), Jones (golden peachy-orange) and Toasted (rich copper).

Check them all out here.

Get your sexy on

Urban Decay Heavy Metals

We’re not much of a glitter-wearing girl, but don’t these eyes look fab?

Urban Decay Heavy Metal is like jewelry for your eyelids. Coming in six sparkly shades (Arena: golden bronze w/ a touch of iridescent, Backstage: gunmetal/gold blend, Bootleg: royal blue/silver blend, Power Ballad: iridescent, Roadie: green w/ a touch of gold and Rockstar: purple w/ a flash of silver & blue) these glitter gels are both easy to apply and long-lasting.

The squeezable needle-nosed tube allows for precise application, evenly distributing the desired amount of glitter.

Wear Heavy Metal alone or over your favorite eyeshadows.

More Urban Decay

After reading Carla’s review on Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadows, I couldn’t help but make a special trip to Sephora to have another look. (I had seen these shadows before and admired the funky packaging, but thought the jewel toned colors might be a bit much for me.)

Upon further inspection, I found that in addition to some incredibly bright (gorgeous, but bright) and intense colors, there were two shades that seemed perfect for my brown eyes: Adore (electric blue) and Zero (smoking black.)

These colors are just as intense as the six others in this collection, but paired with my favorite neutrals like NARS Cyprus, a bronze with shimmer or Laura Mercier Pewter, a grey green charcoal shimmer and these shadows are gently muted and suitable for everyday.

Thanks Carla!
