Prescriptives Summer 2009 Color Collection
Prescriptives Summer 2009 Color Collection is inspired by the classic Calyx fragrance.
With vibrant and energizing tones, this collection gives eyes a pop of color in shimmering yellow, sparkling teal and bright green. Lips are layered with juicy mango, pink grapefruit and guava shades.
My favorite in this collection is the new guava flavored Exhilarating Lip Gloss. This comes in three shades inspired by Calyx’s citrus notes:
- New Mango (warm)
- New Pink Grapefruit (cool)
- New Guava (neutral)
The New Guava is my pick for a sheer gloss with a hint of shimmer and tons of shine. (Also, it’s non-sticky which is a lipgloss MUST here at Makeup Bag.)
Also in this collection is the new Exhilarating Lipcolor in a bright Calyx green case, which I adore. Available shades are:
- New Nectarine (Y/O)
- New Papaya (R/O)
- New Strawberry (R)
- New Raspberry (B/R)
And bright new shades of U-pick Eye Color:
- New Lemondrop (warm)
- New Calyx Green (warm)

Finishing off the collection is the limited edition all-over fragrance: a light refreshing form of the original Calyx.
