Aubrey Plaza has made her mark on the red carpet of the Hollywood premiere of the new movie Funny People.mark celebrity makeup artist Mai Quynh helped her make her mark, and below she dishes on how she created her stunning look.

Mai Quynh Explains How She Created Aubrey’s Red Carpet Look:

Eyes

“Aubrey wore a beautiful classic strapless Dolce and Gabbana dress. Since it was simple, we wanted to play up her makeup for a gorgeous dramatic look! I started by applying mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Corset from the lash line to her crease using the mark All Over Eyeshadow Brush. Then, I used the mark Angled Contour Eyeshadow Brush to blend Corset into the crease and also smudged along her bottom lashes using the mark Eyeliner Brush. This brush helps blend all the edges for your smoky eye. Next, I applied mark On the Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner in Cleo along the top lash line and then winged the outer corner like a cat eye. I also added mark Eyemarker Color on Line in Lapis to the inner rim of her eyes. To complete, I applied two coats of mark Lash Splash Hook Up Waterproof Mascara in Black.”

Face

“I wanted Aubrey to have a very clean and fresh face. I began by applying mark Need A Shrink Pore Minimizer as a foundation primer. I then applied mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Natural with the mark Foundation Brush and set it by applying mark Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation in Natural using the mark Powder Brush. Next, I applied mark Good Riddance Hook Up Concealer in Light/Medium under her eyes and around her nose. For her cheeks, I used mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder in Pro Glow and then swept mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Star Glo to the apples of her cheeks using the mark Blush Brush.”

Lips

mark-liquid-eyeliner

Lauren Conrad’s signature liquid-lined eyes are often attributed to this pint-sized mark On the Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner.

As a general rule, I can take or leave liquid liners, but I have to say, her eyes do always look amazing! The formula itself is said to be long lasting and the included brush appears to be ultra-fine.

Tell me, what is your favorite liquid liner?

Available in Cleo (black), Callisto (blue) and Medusa (brown) for $5.50 each from mark.
