Seven Days of Holiday Looks: Day 7

My final look in this Seven Days of Holiday Looks series was super dramatic, although it’s hard to tell in this photo. (Unfortunately, Bailey borrowed my Nikon for her digital photo class so I had to use my MacBook to take this shot.)

The best part of this look was discovering a few new products that I hadn’t used before.

Here’s the products I used to create this look:

BeingTRUE Eye Shadows

BeingTRUE, the spa brand that combines the best of nature with the best of science is available online at truelynatural.com. I tried the eye shadows in Jasper (taupe) and Lava (deep silvery blue) both of which are shimmers and remind me of MAC Satin Taupe (Jasper) and MAC Knight Divine (Lava). These shadows are very creamy and blend well.

Le Metier de Beaute Bronzer

I fell in love with Le Metier de Beaute last January at the Bendel’s Beauty Breakfast. This brand is so chic and glamorous and has really good products. The bronzer I’m wearing here is exclusive to Neiman Marcus and is so silky and light—it’s perfect for giving pale skin like mine a bit of life.

NARS Multiple Duo in Maldives/Riviera

This is genius. Two shades of NARS Multiple in one convenient compact. I used Riviera on both my cheeks and lips (under gloss) and Maldives as a highlighter. Also, NARS compacts have the hugest mirrors—they go all the way to the edge of the compact and are great for touch-ups because you can see your entire face.

Bobbi Brown Basics Lip Palette

I know I keep singing the praises of this Bobbi Brown Basics Lip Palette, but I just love it that much. Here I’m wearing the nude gloss over the Riviera Multiple mentioned above.

I hope you enjoyed this (long, drawn out) series. There are some amazing holiday makeup collections on counters right now and hopefully you’ll have an opportunity to check them out.
