Just last month Lancôme announced Anne Hathaway as their newest spokesmodel and she’s already hard at work for the brand.

Three days ago, Hathaway was spotted in Paris at Petit Palais, a beloved Paris museum, shooting a Lancôme fragrance commercial. This commercial, scheduled to air in the fall, was directed by renowned fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh.

Lindbergh has directed several fragrance ads, including this one here with Sophie Marceau for Guerlain:

We can’t wait to see how the Lancôme commercial with Anne Hathaway turns out!

Gucce Westman’s final gig as Lancôme creative director brought her backstage at Thakoon where she created a sweet-but-tough wash of pink and lilac on the models faces.

On the lips she created a mauve lip stain with a bit of sheen from the upcoming Fall 2008 Maharani Jewels collection.

Hair was saturated with Aveda Pure Abundance Volumizing Hair Spray to give the roots volume, teased and ironed flat to take the stiffness out. Aveda key hairstylist, Eugene Souleiman, told us he was creating a “soft and hazy look, like the shape of a ‘Park Avenue woman’ with new romance.”

Overall the look was romantic and dreamlike.

This is last week’s news, but Anne Hathaway has been named Lancôme’s newest spokesmodel.

We think Anne’s fresh look is a great fit for Lancôme and look forward to seeing her in their campaign.
