Bare Escentuals Bronzed and Brilliant Collection

bronzed brilliant

The summer sun hasn’t quite made its appearance, but if you need something to tide you over until it emerges, this little set just might fit the bill!

I’m most curious about the Faux Tan Matte bronzer it contains: I’m a huge fan of Faux Tan, but think the original version is relatively matte in the first place, so I have no idea how much flatter Bare Escentuals was able to make it. In addition to the bronzer, the set includes a Natural Lipgloss in Citrus Tart and a Light Stroke Fan Brush.

Bare Escentuals Bronzed and Brilliant Collection is available from Nordstrom for $29.50.

Bare Escentuals Extreme Glimmers

extreme glimmers

Happy November! The holiday season is FINALLY almost here, and to me, nothing else sums up the festive feel of the season like a little bling. This set of Extreme Glimmers mixes relatively neutral eye shadow shades with intense, show-stopping sparkle that will give twinkling lights a run for their money.

Each set of Bare Escentuals Extreme Glimmers includes one each of Pyrite, Malachite and Perlite for $32 from Sephora.

BareMINERALS SPF 15 Matte Foundation

bareminerals matte

I knew it was only a matter of time before mineral makeup mogul Bare Escentuals would launch a matte line, and here it is!

The new formula promises to deliver a matte finish, a sharp contrast to the shiny/dewy tune its older sister (the original BareMinerals formula) has been singing since its launch.

The formula is also said to diminish the look of pores and promote cell turnover by utilizing RareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex. It’s available in 15 shades for $28 each from Sephora.

I’m curious to know: does the promise of a matte finish make you want to take the plunge and give BareMinerals Matte a try?

Bare Escentuals Heal & Conceal Kit

heal and conceal

This new offering from Bare Escentuals promises to heal and conceal pesky blemishes. The kit contains Blemish Therapy (heal), Multi-Tasking Concealer in Bisque (conceal) and two brushes to ensure even coverage every time.

I often find I prefer powder concealers for the occasional red spot, especially when I’m planning to skip the liquid foundation in favor of a mineral powder foundation. (I find that creamy concealer looks noticeable under a strictly mineral powder base, unless I have time to blend it out precisely. With powder concealers, I can slap it on and dust the foundation on top with minimal blending – and time!)

Bare Escentuals Heal & Conceal Kit is available from Bare Escentuals for $25.
