Annick Goutal Eau d’Hadrien

Annick Goutal Eau d’Hadrien

Since proclaiming our intent to become more intimate with fragrance, it seems every scent we happen upon was blended with us in mind.

Annick Goutal Eau d’Hadrien, the brand’s most popular scent, is a refreshing citrus blend of lemon and grapefruit with subtle notes of citron and cypress. On our skin, the initial blast of lemon dries down quickly to a garnish, leaving us with a citrus that is gentle yet invigorating.

As hard as we try, it’s nearly impossible for us to procrastinate while wearing this scent. It keeps us uplifted and energized, moving about our day in an organized and efficient manner.

Created in 1981, Annick Goutal Eau d’Hadrien is a wonderfully light and happy fragrance that is perfect for warm weather. (And procrastinators.)

Annick Goutal fragrances are available online at annickgoutal.com and at select boutiques and department stores.

Petite Cherie

Several months ago, we fell in love with Annick Goutal Petite Cherie, a fruity-floral fragrance with notes of pear, peach, rose musk, cut grass and vanilla.

Annick Goutal Petite Cherie

Annick Goutal created this fragrance in 1998 for her daughter Camille as she became a young woman. While this fragrance is meant for the young woman (been there, done that) it truly represents everything we love in a scent—light, sweet, cheerful.

On our skin, the initial pear scent dries quickly to a light, grassy-vanilla that lingers for hours. Petite Cherie ($95 for 1.7 oz Eau de Parfum Spray) is a delightful daytime scent that we finally caved on and brought home with us from New York.

(Unfortunately for our pocketbook, Petite Cherie is not the only fragrance we came home with. More to come!)
