Current Nail Obsession: CND Vinylux Polish

A couple weeks ago I tried CND Vinylux Weekly Polish for the first time and I’m completely smitten.

Vinylux Weekly Polish is a two-step system that is more durable than regular polish without the hassle of a gel polish. The self-adhering color coat eliminates the need for a base coat while the ProLight Technology top coat is said to increase durability with exposure to natural light. Removal is as simple as regular polish: just wipe clean with an acetone-soaked cotton ball.

The whole natural light exposure thing confuses me slightly, but I have to say that my manicure lasted a full week without incident. I didn’t change my carburetor or dig holes for fence posts or anything, but I did do dishes (by hand) all week in addition to all my daily chores/errands/running around.

Impressive, no?

Vinylux Weekly Polish comes in 62 different shades, 40 of which match shades in the CND Shellac line, in case you happen to be a matchy matchy mani/pedi kind of girl. (The shade I’m wearing here is Regally Yours.)

Vinylux Weekly Polish retails for $9.90 and can be found online at various retailers like BeautyBrands.com and Amazon.
