Not to bore you with my recent shoe purchases or anything, but I found these Matt Bernson Delphine sandals at HSN several weeks ago for a great price and I’ve been wearing them to death.

I love that they’re suede and have tiny gold studs that makes them more special than wearing flip-flops. (Here in Kauai, it could easily be all flip-flops ALL THE TIME.) Plus, the small wedge heel means I get to be an inch taller!

After a long, fun summer here in Kauai, the kids are finally back in school.

Bree is starting her third semester at the community college here in Kauai, Bailey just settled in as a freshman at a school in Utah and Janey is now a (sob!) FOURTH GRADER. Time flies when you’re having fun, I guess.

Our businesses here in Kauai are thriving and continue to demand most of my attention, but Makeup Bag is always on my mind. And I faithfully continue to test the latest and greatest products in the beauty world…

Lately I’ve been shopping for shoes online like crazy.

It might be that I’ve been using Janey’s iPad, which makes shopping online very easy. I find myself shopping when I normally would be daydreaming or killing time by excessively refreshing my Twitter stream on my iPhone (standing in line at the bank, waiting for a dentist appointment, relaxing in the bathtub…).
