This magnificent 252 room resort is nestled in the Hanalei valley overlooking the awe-inspiring Napali Coast on Kauai’s north shore. A distinctive trait of the St. Regis experience is coveted locations and luxurious design and this Kauai property, newly opened in fall 2009, certainly doesn’t disappoint.
(Crazy as it seems, these photos of the view from the St. Regis terrace were shot with my own camera and have not been re-touched. The Kauai ocean is this amazing, my friends.)
The 10,000 square foot Halele’a Spa (which fittingly means House of Joy) is equally gorgeous and tranquil as the deep blue ocean pictured above.
The impeccable service and luxe surroundings made my Taro Butter Pokahu Massage even more soothing than I imagined it would be. The hot stones promote circulation and deep relaxation while the taro butter allows the therapist to gently work tension out of the muscles.
After our treatments Julia, Amber and I sat around in our plush robes sipping spa water and enjoying a detoxifying sauna before heading off to lunch.
The Halele’a Spa at the St. Regis Princeville Resort is the perfect way to pamper yourself while on vacation in beautiful Kauai.
