Daily Style: Alexandre Birman Python Gillie Sandal

Maybe it’s because I’m on a small island in the Pacific with no access to “real” shopping, but lately I’ve been fantasizing about exotic footwear.

I swear I had a dream about this exact pair several nights ago. As I browsed BergdorfGoodman.com last night I gasped for air when I saw the gorgeous python detailing on the nearly-5″ heels.

“What is it, mama?” Janey asked me, curious to know what I had just spotted.

“These shoes!” I told her, pointing to my computer screen. “I saw these in a dream I had.”

“Oh,” she replied, barely looking up from her coloring project, “that happens to me all the time.”

Alexandre Birman Python Gillie Sandal is available online at BergdorfGoodman.com for $595.

Flowerbomb La Vie En Rose

I’m a die-hard Flowerbomb fan, so whenever a new variation is released I’m always dying to find out if it measures up to the original.

This one sounds divine in a summery sort of way: according to Sephora, “the scent opens with top notes of tangerine, bergamot, tea, and pink pepper. Lily of the Valley, freesia, and Centifolia Rose create the floral heart. A base of amber and patchouli provides a compelling anchor.”

Sign me up!

Flowerbomb La Vie En Rose is available from Sephora for $80.

Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Intense

This new eyeliner just might be the answer to my prayers! I used to use Clinique Quickliner for Eyes every day, but I had to give up my daily Quickliner habit when I found myself going through one every 2-3 weeks since I ended up using a ton of product to get the color payoff I wanted. I’m dying to see if Clinique has finally added the color intensity I’ve been craving to the long-wear formula I love!

Available in Intense Black, Intense Coffee, Intense Chocolate and Intense Plum for $14.50 each online at Nordstrom.com.

Daily Style: The Limited Shirred Sheath Dress

This dress is sugar and spice and everything nice! Okay, maybe a little more sugar than spice, but I love it nonetheless: it’s conservative, classic and perfectly appropriate for work or play.

I’m loving the basic pattern, sleek shape and Park Avenue perfect-ness of it all!

The Limited Shirred Sheath Dress is available from The Limited for $89.50.
