CHANEL Fall 2010 Makeup Collection: Le Contrastes de Chanel

I know I’m a bit late in sharing this Chanel Fall 2010 Makeup Collection with you but here it is. Gorgeously contrasting shades and Chanel sophistication in all its glory:

Sheer, natural-looking JOUES CONTRASTE Powder Blush ($42)— the blush that has attracted a devoted following for years — brings a modern freshness to cheeks with three new shades:
- Pink Explosion, a luminous pink
- Rose Temptation, a shimmering rosewood
- Plum Attraction, a bold glistening plum.
This lightweight powder glides on beautifully and wears for hours without fading or changing color.
My longtime favorite blush is Chanel Orchid Rose (I’ve probably repurchased this 5 times over the years, which is a lot for a girl with as many blushes as I have) so I’m thrilled to try the new Rose Temptation.

The new ROUGE COCO classic lip colour ($30) plays up innocence and femininity with three new shades to beautifully offset bold eyes:
- Chalys, a delicate coral
- Rose Dentelle, a tender pink
- Chintz, a soft peach
A glossy finish is achieved with the cult-favorite LÈVRES SCINTILLANTES Glossimer ($27) in four new shades:
- Petite Pêche, a pale peach
- Coral Love, a bright coral shimmer
- Rose Dilemma, a soft pink
- Teaser, a vivid pink
The essential LES 4 OMBRES Quadra Eyeshadow ($56) eyeshadow compact with unlimited options, now in Enigma, the bold new color harmony, features a shimmering peach, deep plum and two iterations of deep smoky grey.
Two new shades of OMBRE ESSENTIELLE Soft Touch Eyeshadow ($28.50) bring further depth to the season’s dramatic colour palette:
- Taupe Grisé, a chocolate grey
- Vert Khaki, a cool khaki green
Eyes become the focus when rimmed with a precise stroke or softly smudged line of STYLO YEUX WATERPROOF Long-Lasting Eyeliner ($28) in new Cassis, a pitch-dark plum.
And my favorite product of this release: LE VERNIS Nail Color ($23) in Paradoxal, a dark grey-violet that is sure to be the statement shade of the season.
