Daily Style: Diane von Furstenberg Tie-Front Wrap Dress

dvf wrap dress
While many have tried to imitate her design, DVF still sets the bar with her gorgeous wrap dresses that flatter any figure.

This particular design features three-quarter cuffed sleeves and a beautiful neckline. So timeless and classic, but still beautiful and current.

Diane von Furstenberg Tie-Front Wrap Dress is available from Saks Fifth Avenue for $298.

Philosophy Hope Springs Eternal Facial Mist

philosophy hope springs eternal facial mist

Facial mists are a great way to hydrate skin (or freshen up your makeup) without leaving a heavy residue as some creams do.

This week I’m in Hawaii and while the weather is mild and far from unbearably hot (it is, after all, “winter” here) my regular moisturizer has been leaving my skin feeling more like a grease trap and less like a dewy plumeria. (NOT a pretty look.)

I normally like to save facial mists for the heat of summer, but this new offering from philosophy is the perfect solution for hydration without heavy product. Formulated with the rejuvenating properties of the deep sea, hope springs eternal contains over 250 minerals that topically feed your skin healthy nutrients for an astonishingly healthy glow.

I can spritz this on even after applying foundation for a mid-day pick-me-up.

Tip: Transfer some into a travel-size spray bottle for your next plane ride. Your skin will love you forever!

philosophy hope springs eternal Deep Sea Ultra-Fine Hydrating Mist is available online at philosophy.com for $20.

Nail Flavor of the Week: MARDI GRAS Nails!

china glaze watermelon rind

Happy Fat Tuesday, my friends!

This week my nails are celebrating Mardi Gras with China Glaze Watermelon Rind, a glorious shade of teal blue that is so full of shimmer, you’d think it had seven dimensions!

This color is part of the 2009 Summer Days collection that debuted last summer.

OPI lucky lucky lavender

Bree decided on a more girly, light shade— OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender from the Hong Kong Collection.

OPI Suzi says feng shui

Bailey opted for this pretty creme blue from the OPI Hong Kong collection called Suzi Says Feng Shui.

What’s on your nails this week?

Daily Style: Godiva Raspberry Ganache Candle

godiva
I’m still in the process of trying to decide whether the idea of having a Godiva candle in my home would curb my cravings or simply stimulate my appetite for delicious chocolate?

Anyway, I’m dying to sniff this all-new candle from one of my favorite chocolate stores. The gorgeous gold box and sweet sensory treat inside would certainly make a fabulous gift!

Godiva Raspberry Ganache Candle is available from Neiman Marcus for $22.50.
