Nicole Kidman at the NINE Premier in New York
Makeup artists have long touted their trick of applying excess powder under eyes to catch eyeshadow fallout—but the key is to brush it all off before you leave the house!
Not sure what happened with Nicole Kidman at last night’s NINE premier in New York. I can’t imagine her handlers would let her out of the car with excessive amounts of powder, but it happened.
Moments later, she was caught on camera without the powder, so hopefully the mishap was remedied before too much embarrassment ensued!

Wow that is alot of powder… I can’t believe she didn’t check their work before heading out.

The powder showed under the flash because it wasn’t blended well enough.

Wow, that’s a LOOK! Kidding, of course.
BTW, I cannot wait to see this movie!!

This happened to someone else recently, I saw it on Spoiled Pretty. Luckily Nicole is so fair that it’s a little less noticeable, the other woman wasn’t so lucky. I wish I could remember who it was. Someone needs to fire their makeup artist, I know I would. It looks like she snorted her supper.

Oh poor girl! I’m sure the makeup artist does so much makeup that last step must’ve slipped her mind! Still, quite hilarious for the rest of us

It’s looks like a silica based powder. So maybe they didn’t see it in certain lights.

Yes! Perhaps an all natural version might have been better?

It definitely looks like silica (MUFE HD powder) it’s invisible to the eye, but reflects like crazy to the flash which is really dangerous. This happened to me too!

This is really bad. Anyone with eyes or a mirror could tell that this was going to be a paparazzi disaster. I shared the post with my Twitter crowd too!
