What’s in My Shower: November Edition
So technically it’s not November anymore. Can you believe?
How does time slip away from me like so? As I’m lying in bed, battling my cold, I realized I didn’t share what’s in my shower for the month of November.
Every winter I bust out this shower oil because it’s so moisturizing and smells delicious. Funny thing is, I haven’t bought this since 2007 when I stocked up during a Sephora Friends & Family sale. Come to my house and I won’t have any back stock of canned goods or paper towels, but I have enough L’Occitane Amande Shower Oil to last me until 2013.
Molton Brown Celestial Maracuja Sugar Polish ($60)
I received a sample of this scrub during an event at Fashion Week a few seasons ago and I’ve repurchased it twice since (mainly because Janey won’t keep her paws off it!). The sugar is coarse so be sure to stir well with your finger as it tends to settle at the bottom of the jar. I absolutely adore how this makes my skin feel and smell.
Nexxus Diametress Shampoo & Sublime Volume Conditioner
I picked up this shampoo & conditioner at Walmart last month. Many times I choose my shampoo much like I choose my football teams—based on looks and looks alone. These sleek bottles caught my eye and they’ve been working great on my fine hair.
I know I have a new face wash in there, too, but I’m feeling feverish and weak and just can’t get off my butt to go see what it is. Next time, I promise!

Maracuja sugar polish? I need me some of that.
That is my favorite fruit of all time.
I hope you feel better soon! This stuff is nasty.

Ah, the L’occitane shower oil seems divine. I am like that when I am loving a certain product too. I stock up like the shops selling it would close down soon. LOL. your blog is wonderful!

I hope you’re feeling better soon.
I’ve always loved the What’s In My Shower section, it’s such a cute idea.
I loved your comment on football teams looks, it’s so true that lots of people do that. My husband picks the team with the prettiest colors and it works for him a lot of the time.

Hmmmmmm I really like the John Frieda line because it’s drugstore but I feel like you get really good outcomes with a lot of their shampoos and conditioners…
I’ve been trying a new conditioner and it smells a bit minty so it’s perfect for my early morning showers!
