MAC Fall 2009 Collection: DSquared2

“Every season the fashion crowd is up and on the run, crazy for the fierce and sexy fun we’ve come to expect from designer twins Dan and Dean Caten. With their haute hi-jinx and body-beautiful clothes, a collaboration with M·A·C simply could NOT be avoided!”

MAC Fall 2009 color collection DSquared2, a collaboration with DSquared2 designers Dan and Dean Caten, is full of makeup basics twisted with edginess.

Take the Greasepaint stick, for example. If you like a sexy, not-so-perfect smoky eye, you MUST give these a try. I love how they’re super creamy and smudge in a way that only the coolest of cool girls have been known to wear. I’ve been wearing the black under my smoky eye shadows as a base and it looks amazing.

I’m also totally into the new Blood Red lipstick shade. It has a wine-y undertone that’s perfect for my skin tone. LOVE.

And let’s not forget about my most fave Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF 15 in Fuchsia Fix, a balm that smells like vanilla and has a bright fuchsia tint!

  • Hey,

What’s up? I’ve had Fuschia Fix for about two years but don’t wear it often. I don’t like wearing it because I feel like the color just doesn’t work for me but I love the smell and the color’s really beautiful in it’s pot. I have dark brown hair, dark brown eyes and fair- light skin. Do you have any suggestions for making F.F. wearable for me? I haven’t found any true fuschia lipsticks yet; I’m thinking maybe put it over a lip stick. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Fellow cosmetics enthusiast.
