Summer Makeup Bag Contest: Jennifer’s Makeup Bag

summer makeup bag contest jennifer

Our final entry in the Summer Makeup Bag Contest is Jennifer. Check out what Jennifer has in her makeup bag:

The bag itself was a spur of the moment purchase from Walgreen’s. It holds all my necessary touch-ups and I love the pink, green and white stripes!
Oil Absorbing Sheets: I always have these in my bag and around the house. They keep me from looking like an oil slick, especially during the hot summer months!
Rhoto V Cooling Eye Drops: They have a nice cooling sensation which wakes up my eyes. They feel so refreshing!
MAC Studio Fix Powder: My holy grail of face powders. It provides awesome coverage without looking cakey. I always go back to this powder.
Carmex (Original) : I always have a tub of this with me because it reminds me of my mom! It reminds me of when I was younger playing in the snow and my mom bending over to give me a kiss and I could smell the Carmex on her lips. Every time I apply my Carmex I’m reminded of that winter day adn brings a smile to my face :o)
C.O. Bigelow SPF 15 Mentha Lip Balm Stick: I love that this has SPF 15! It keeps my lips protected when I’m out in the sun. I also apply it when I need a little ‘pick me up’.
POSH Mini Powder Brush: I’ve had this for almost 3 years now and the bristles are soft as ever, even after a ton of washings! It’s small enough to fit in my bag and works super well with my MAC Studio Fix powder.
Aquaphor: I use it when my lips are super chapped or on unexpected dry patches. A little goes a long way and this stuff works  – no lie!
Tweezers: I can’t even remember the brand, but, I always keep them on me. I freak out when my eyebrows are a mess!
Prestige Lip Liner in Silk: This pencil matches my lip color perfectly and makes any lipstick or lipgloss stay put for hours on end.
Revlon Color Stay Liquid Eye Pen: My holy grail liquid eyeliner! This thing is fool-proof. It deposits enough color the first time so there is no need to go over it again. No touch ups either, this baby lasts!
Maybelline Color Sensational Gloss in Sugared Honey: I wear this gloss when I want to add a little “ooomph” to my lips. It’s inexpensive and has really great color payoff. This was the best lip collection Maybelline has come out with, in my opinion!
Prestige “My Biggest Lashes’ Mascara: This was a purchase on my quest to find the best (drugstore) mascara. It definatley lengthens my lashes without clumps, but the enormous brush makes it really tough to get in the inner/outer corners without smudges. I still love it though.
ReNu MultiPlus Drops: Saves my contact lenses from getting dry.
MAC Lipglass in Underage: This gives me the perfect nude lip with fantastic staying power. Plus, I’m additced to that vanilla scent!
MAC Lip Laquer in Rainbeau: It’s the perfect mauveish / pinkish / plum shade that I could not find anywhere else except at MAC! Unfortunately, MAC does not carry this shade anymore so I’m trying to preserve mine for as long as possible. I wear this color all the time at work, it’s very office friendly.
Victoria’s Secret PINK Tinted Lip Balms in Peace (brown) and Happy (pink): I scored these at Bath and Body Works this past weekend for two dollars a pop and I adore them! The tiny packaging slips perfectly into my pocket or clutch and they deposit just enough color on your lips. Bonus: They smell like fruit punch and keep your lips super soft!
Urban Decay Primer Potion: Need I say more? The BEST eyeshadow primer EVER! I apply my eyeshadow around 5:30am and it still looks perfect when it comes time to wash it off, usually around 10pm. No creasing, smudging or budging at all!
Revlon Color Stay Eyeshadow Quad #06 In the Buff: This is my default quad, I wear it to work almost every single day! The colors apply very easily and blend very well together. Plus, you get a mix of matte and shimmer shadows.
MAC Eyeshadow Single in Naked Lunch: I use Naked Lunch primarily as a highlight. It’s a gorgeous pale pinkish / peachy / champagne color with incredible staying power!
Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturizer: So far I have already bought 3 backup bottles of this stuff, just in case! It gives me just enough coverage to hide any imperfections, has SPF 30, and has ever so slight, barely noticable light reflecting mineral shimmer to make my skin glow. Bonus: total soy complex for even skin tone!
Nearly every entry in this contest has Urban Decay Primer Potion in her makeup bag (and I have it, too!) Thanks for sharing with us, Jennifer!
