Kiehl’s Sunflower Color Preserving Shampoo and Conditioner

Last month while I was in New York, I stopped in to the Kiehl’s Boutique on Columbus Ave with my fellow Daily Makeover Beauty Bloggerati members on our Beauty Crawl.

We were greeted with champagne and big smiles from their amazing staff who showed us around and brought us up to speed on the latest Kiehl’s offerings. Immediately I was entranced by the AMAZING scent of the new Sunflower line, a sulfate, silicon and paraben-free formulation that gently cleans hair without stripping color. I bought a Sunflower Color Preserving Shampoo and Sunflower Color Preserving Conditioner on the spot. I had to have it, and so must you!

Patyka Mandarine Organic Body Wash

Patyka is a French luxury brand that grows and extracts all of its own organic materials. This brand does not use any synthetic materials that could be harmful to your skin or the environment (parabens, silicon, petroleum, sulfates…) yet the products are luxurious and beautiful.

I have been using and loving the Mandarine Body Wash. With its refreshing scent and gentle formula, this is the perfect summer body wash. (Also? Knowing that I’m being kind to my skin and the environment makes me feel the tiniest bit smug as I step out of the shower.)

Darphin Nourishing Smoothing Body Scrub

I love how this Darphin scrub looks like a gel but it transforms into a nourishing milk on contact. With a subtle blend of essential oils and exfoliating ingredients, this is a perfect twice-weekly scrub to keep my skin looking fresh and feeling soft.

Be sure to rinse extra well as there’s cranberry extracts and bamboo particles contained in the formula that could easily get caught in your hair.

CHANEL MOUSSE EXFOLIANTE PURETÉ Exfoliating Cleansing Foam Purity + Anti-Pollution

A long-time lover of Chanel skin care, I especially love the smooth and silky feel of this mousse cleanser. Very similar in scent and texture to my favorite Chanel Mousse Douceur Foaming Mousse Cleanser, this new exfoliating version is formulated for combination-to-oily skin and has the teeniest exfoliating beads that are so gentle, they’re nearly imperceptible.

The Wonderbar

This tiny bar of soap is made from Austrian moor clay along with an algae derivative that encourages cell regeneration. To use, lather your face, neck and chest and leave on for 3 minutes. I’ve been using this for several weeks and can see a difference in the skin on my neck and chest (where I’ve been most consistent in using The Wonderbar). Since I’m not a fan of soap dishes, try hanging this in a small mesh bag to keep it from getting gooey in a dish.
