NEW! Fall 2009: shu uemura Primitribe Collection

primitribe shu uemura

The 129th mode makeup collection by shu uemura is called Primitribe (primitive + tribe) and leads you to a fun and wild adventure of color makeup.

shu uemura painting liner

I’m most excited about the two new shades of Painting Liner in turquoise and citrine. I’ve been wearing Painting Liner here in Kauai all summer and it is TOTALLY waterproof. I’m talking– lasts all day and into the next, even after swimming in the ocean!

  1. Looks good on the model…but how does it work in everyday life, e.g, grocery shopping, school, work? Maybe for the weekends!

  2. I love those colors. I would wear that blue color EVERY day! I love the look they created with the yellow in the inner corners. So pretty!

  3. Colors are just super sweet and they really makes you think of some primitve tribe, how they used to makeup their faces. I remember I have a turquoise dress here somewhere:)

  4. Robin, I agree that I likely won’t wear the yellow, but I love how it looks in the pot!

Jaime and Tavia, I’ll for sure wear the turquoise, especially on my lower lash line for a pop of color.

Painting Liner comes in a ton of shades so if you’re looking for a waterproof liner, this one’s for you!
