Daily Style: Anthropologie Anacapri Hat

anthropologiehat
I’m totally loving this super chic hat Anacapri Hat from Anthropologie. The glamorous, oversize shape is perfect for staying stylish in the sun. I love how it’s all dressed up in black twill and woven straw; the contrast adds interest and the loose weave lets a little light in so your face won’t be totally eclipsed by its large size.

This Anacapri Hat is available from Anthropologie for $42.

Guerlain Terracotta Princess Powder Bronzer

guerlain-terracotta

Guerlain Bronzers will always have a special place in my heart; my very first brush with bronzer occurred at a Guerlain counter, and I’ve never forgotten how glamorous I felt that day.

While Guerlain’s Terracotta range has since expanded to include a wide array of offerings, this limited edition Princess Powder definitely wins the award for the prettiest choice! The shimmering bronzing powder is embossed with an image inspired by the decadence of Indian royalty, and can be used to bronze and highlight.

Guerlain Terracotta Princess Powder Bronzer is available from Nordstrom for $70.

Nail Flavor of the Week: Essie Perky Purple

essie-perky-purple

This weekend I chose Essie Perky Purple, from the Essie Neon Collection, for my manicure.

I should have painted three coats instead of two, as it looks kind of sheer in these photos, but I was anxious to get a top coat on to bring back the shine. This color (like most neons) has a dull finish without a top coat.

Even though I’ve only been to the grocery store since painting my nails, I’ve already received two compliments on this bright, fun purple shade.

Also, check out my latest Kauai find:

This is a real sea shell that’s been drilled into a ring. I got it at a local surf shop for $9.99. It’s super bulky and kind of uncomfortable, but I love it still.

What’s on your nails this week?

Daily Style: Dabby Reid Ltd. Crystal Drop Earrings

crystal-drop-earrings

This summer, pretty orange accessories are sprouting up all over the place, and I’m definitely taking note! Orange seems so seasonally appropriate, conjuring images of blazing bonfires and vivid sunsets that set the whole sky aglow.

Somehow, summer’s essence seems to be captured perfectly in these beautiful orange and pink Dabby Reid Ltd. Crystal Drop Earrings. I love the way they’re bold and dainty all at the same time; the fiery colors are perfectly offset by the subtle sparkle and feminine shape.

Available in 5 color combinations for $24 each from Nordstrom.
