Review: Sunsilk Captivating Curls De-Frizz Collection

picture-23

My hair is as straight and fine as they come. (Actually, straighter. And finer.)

When I got my hands on a sample of the Sunsilk Captivating Curls De-Frizz Collection I figured I wasn’t the best candidate to give a proper review so I asked my curly-haired friend Meghan to test the products out and give me the scoop on how they performed.

Here’s what Meghan had to say:

“Both the shampoo and conditioner smelled really lovely and felt very nice in my hair. The shampoo rinsed clean and the conditioner was light and didn’t weigh down my hair. Once my hair dried, my hair was less frizzy than normal after air-drying. My curls were more present and defined. I’ll definitely keep using this to bring out my curls.”

Honestly, I’m not surprised Meghan likes these products as the Sunsilk Daring Volume Anti-Flat shampoo and conditioner are favorites of mine. They smell delish, don’t weigh my hair down, and THEY’RE CHEAP!

Nothing beats finding great hair products that cost less than a venti soy latte from Starbucks.

Sunsilk Captivating Curls De-Frizz Collection is available at grocery and drugstores nationwide and online at drugstore.com.

Daily Style: Orrefors ‘Polaris’ Vase

vase
I love this Orrefors Polaris vase; it’s slightly offbeat while still managing to look sleek and sophisticated. Its asymmetry would lend itself to a classic, simple flower — a few Cala Lilies floating inside would make a truly striking statement.

It’s available from Nordstrom for $135.

Philosophy: She Colors My Day

philosophy

Inspired by the artwork of her daughter, philosophy founder Cristina Carlino authored and co-created She Colors My Day, a heartwarming song that honors the unique relationship between a mother and her daughter.

This high-foaming bubble bath was created to celebrate this song and what it stands for while benefiting the Women’s Cancer Research Fund. 100% of the net proceeds of this product goes to the Women’s Cancer Research Fund to support the early detection of women’s cancers.

She Colors My Day Bubble Bath comes in two colors and scents: green, a light refreshing scent and pink, a pink bubble gum scent. Both will lightly tint your bathwater green or pink and help to soothe and moisturize skin.

Philosophy She Colors My Day Bubble Bath is available online at philosophy.com.
