Elizabeth Arden Pretty

This morning, the Total Beauty bloggers gathered together at Givaudan to meet the nose behind Elizabeth Arden’s new fragrance Pretty.

Claude Dir, Givaudan’s international perfumer and the creator of Pretty, gave us an overview of the notes used in this feminine floral scent and his inspiration behind it.

Starting with Petalia, an exclusive Givaudan molecule never before used in fragrance development, Dir was able to create a flirty, timeless scent that is distinctive enough to stand out amongst a sea of new feminine florals. “There are so many fragrances on the market, people are confused,” he said. With his mixture of over 100 ingredients, Dir was able to create in Pretty a unique and memorable scent that all women can relate to.

Top notes:

  • Italian Mandarin ORPUR
  • Orange Blossom
  • Peach Nectar

  • Petalia
  • Star Jasmine
  • Pink Iris
  • White Peony

  • Fluffy Musk
  • Jacaranda Wood
  • Creamy Amber

Elizabeth Arden Pretty is currently available in an Eau de Parfum Spray, Body Lotion and Body Powder with Puff.

  • I love the packaging! I can’t wait to go to the store this weekend to smell it! The ad is really nice too.

  • Oh that looks so nice.

  • I don’t think I like this scent based on the samples I’ve smelled in magazines. I’m not really a floral girl. I like woodsy scents more.

  • Does anyone know what brand the dress the model is wearing in the advertisement??
