Seven Days of Holiday Looks: Day 6

So. Um, yeah. My last two holiday looks are a little late.

(Okay, A LOT late.)

But that doesn’t take away from the fact that 1) this MAC mineralize eye shadow duo is beyond amazing and 2) I don’t know how I lived my life without this CHANEL Blush Duo Tweed Effect. (If I were to add a third it would be: 3) I’m always late. Please don’t hold it against me.)

Here’s the products I used to create this holiday look:

Stila Hydrating Primer SPF 15

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again—USE SUNSCREEN EVERY DAY. Even on cloudy, cold, winter days we must protect our skin from damaging rays. Stila Cosmetics has a brand new Hydrating Primer SPF 15 that maintains hydration levels throughout the day giving you the appearance of dewy skin. It’s also nice way to prep skin for foundation.

MAC Mineralize Eye Shadow Trio in Inter-view

From the Red She Said holiday collection, this Mineralize Eye Shadow Trio in Inter-view features frosty deep navy, copper pearl stripe and frosty bronzy brown. The warm bronzes with the cool navy make for a striking contrast. This trio is limited edition and it won’t be around for long.

CHANEL Les Tissages de Chanel Blush Duo Tweed Effect

When Bree’s friend Katie walked out the door after having her makeup done for the homecoming dance, she looked over her shoulder at me and whispered that she felt extra special because she was wearing CHANEL eye shadow. Katie is so right—CHANEL makes me feel extra special, too. (Actually, I’m thinking CHANEL makes everyone feel extra special which might explain why all my Glossimers are missing. Bree? Bailey? Janey?)

This new Blush Duo Tweed Effect, inspired by the iconic CHANEL tweed fabric, has two contrasting shades of sheer cheek color that are ‘woven’ with a subtle shimmering powder for a luminous natural glow. I’m wearing Pink Tweed my favorite of the three available shades.

Bobbi Brown Basics Lip Palette

This Bobbi Brown Basics Lip Palette has not left my purse since I got it. With four lip shades—Posey Shimmer Lip Gloss, Naked Lip Gloss, Brownie Lip Color and Rum Raisin Lip Color—I have a lip shade for every occasion all in the same slim palette. This is definitely a Makeup Bag must-have.
