Jessica Simpson Promotes Fancy in Costa Mesa, CA
Jessica Simpson was in Macy’s at South Coast Plaza over the weekend promoting her latest endeavor: Fancy.
Many of my beauty friends have said this fragrance isn’t as sickeningly sweet as you’d first think (with gourmand notes like pear, apricot, toasted almonds, caramel and vanilla—sounds like a delicious dessert to me!) and is actually quite pleasant after the dry down.
Me? I have yet to sniff this.
I know, I know. There’s just too many products to conquer them all—but I’d love to know what you think of it. Have you tried Jessica Simpson’s Fancy?
It’s so funny… I went perfume shopping with my boyfriend and he just liked whatever I tested, but he lovvvved this one. He asked me what it was and said it smells really good. He doesn’t know anything about perfumes and isn’t Metrosexual in the slightest. lol He reacted at first sniff.

Oh, I forgot to mention it was a blind sniff test.. He didn’t know the brand or name.

Wow! That’s good to know
Although, they do say that men are more attracted to gourmand scents. I guess the way to a man’s heart is food (or a food-scented fragrance!)

Its very sweet. My friends at work wear it and one time a guy asked one of them if they were baking cookies! Haha it smells good but its not my kind of fragrance.

I’ve smelled the sample and I really didn’t mind it at all. I’d have to say though that she looks amazing in this picture. I love her hair.

I smelled a sample of Fancy in a magazine and loved it.
I got a sample from a store – and it’s offically my new favourite fragrance! I was so surprised I would like it.
Yeah, love the lip colour Jess wore at the perfume launch.
