I love shoes.

Wait, I didn’t say that loud enough. I LOVE SHOES!

No matter how stressed-out, irritated, angry, sad, or frustrated I am, shoes are my instant picker-upper.

As I was scouring the web the other day, I came across a pair of mega-fierce Christian Louboutin’s. It was love at first sight:

However, any hopes of owning these was crushed as soon as I saw the price tag: $1495.00!

The very next day I headed up to the mall to do some Christmas shopping and stopped into Charlotte Russe.  I kid you not, I think I heard a choir of angels singing as my eye was immediately drawn to a little piece of heaven. Sitting on the shelf was a pair of black strappy buckle heels very similar to the Louboutin’s I had seen. They even had the infamous red detailing!

And here’s the best part: I saved $1468.00. Ha!
