Seven Days of Holiday Looks: Day 3
Today was a crazy busy day but, let me tell you, if you have somewhere special to go and no time to get ready—red lips will save you.
Red lips have a way of adding instant drama. Instant glamour. Instant appeal.
Here’s the holiday makeup products I used to create this look:
CLINIQUE Almost Powder Makeup SPF15
When I’m in a hurry, Clinique Almost Powder Makeup SPF15 is my favorite foundation to give my skin even coverage that lasts all day. The formula is so lightweight (it’s triple pressed in Japan using a unique process that takes twice as long to produce) and easy to apply, yet leaves my skin looking near-perfect. This glittery version of the orginal NARS Orgasm blush give your face an extra specialness while still complementing your skin tone with the peacy pink shade everyone knows and loves.
Shu Uemura Partial Soft Cross Lashes
These Shu Uemura Partial Soft Cross Lashes are my ultimate favorite. Because they’re divided into quarters, they are easier to apply (in my opinion) than a full set of lashes. My trick is to use one quarter on the outermost edge and then place half of another piece next to it. This gives the look of enhanced lashes without the annoying strip all the way across my eye.
CLINIQUE Long Last Lipstick in NEW Party Red
Clinique is launching a holiday collection next month—called Party Red—and the red lipstick I’m wearing is the star of the show. Party Red is a limited edition shade that has a soft, creamy-matte formula to keep lips moist. This striking shade looks great on all skin tones and it stays fresh without drying or fading, even for the holiday parties that last all night.

You look very glam! I love that Clinique Almost Powder – although it currently lives in my purse and I use it for touch ups. Maybe it needs to move back into my makeup bag:)

I’ve been buying red lipsticks like a mad woman. I’m still looking for that perfect shade. I believe they are the fastest way to look polished.
