Makeup Bag Shapes Up: Week 5

Week 5, July 3rd:

Finally, some progress. (I won’t remind myself that it’s taken me FIVE WHOLE WEEKS to lose 3 pounds.)

This week I ate a lot of cottage cheese and strawberries. I’m also loving red apples with organic peanut butter (apparently this is Joe Jonas’ favorite snack, which Janey never fails to remind me each and every time I prepare it).

This week I’m upping my cardio to 45 minutes per day for 7 days straight. Let’s see if that gets me results.

  • Good job Erika! Thats one of my favorite healthy snacks too! :) And sometimes it’s easier to keep up with working out if you shoot for everyday, rather than a few times a week – I find that it makes it more of a habit.

  • Congrats on the three pound loss! Hopefully the new cardio routine will make it even better. I know how hard it is to stick with an exercise plan, lol! If only it were easier. 😛

  • Way-to-go! I am going to get weighed tomorrow at Jenny Craig. After a week of vacation I’m not too hopeful about the outcome. But, I was pretty in-control this week, way better than any other vacation in recent memory!!
