Manicure/Pedicure by OPI

If we can find time on the weekend, we like to give ourself a mani/pedi.

Over the years, we’ve realized that we prefer our home mani/pedis to any we’ve had at a salon—it’s just so much better to decompress on the couch with our favorite polish while catching up on episodes of The Girls Next Door .

These home treatments also guarantee that our nails are shaped the way we like them (short and square with rounded corners) and our polish covers our entire nail (all the way to the edges).

Of course we still like to be pampered at the salon but more likely than not, we walk away disappointed in one way or another.

To enhance our at-home ritual we try to make it as salon-like and relaxing as possible with scrubs and massage lotions. One of our favorites, OPI Manicure/Pedicure, is now available in two new flavors: Tropical Citrus and Cucumber.

Cucumber has a twist of pineapple and is our absolute favorite—so refreshing!

OPI Manicure/Pedicure scrubs and lotions are available online at OPI.com .

  1. I so admire you. I’d look like a little girl did my nails if I did them myself.

  2. Love your blog. I love having a pedicure, and enjoy doing all the skin treatment part at home but find that I just can’t get the polish as smooth and neat as having one at a shop. How do you deal with ridges? I’d love to know!

  3. A monthly pedicure is one of my few indulgences. My pro nail tech does an unbeatable job, and if you figure cost per week plus pampering and leg and foot massage - it’s sooo worth it!

I do my own manicure, as it lasts as long as a professional one. The Opi Tropical Citrus sounds yummy, Erika!
