Clinique Fall 2008: Modern Matte

Launching next month at Clinique counters nationwide is Clinique Fall 2008 Modern Matte collection. Colour Surge Eye Shadow Stay Matte is a new variation of the ever-popular Colour Surge Eye Shadow with a soft, matte finish. This easy to blend shadow is perfect for women of all ages and comes in the following shades:

  • French Vanilla
  • Sable
  • Chocolate Chip
  • Martini
  • Stone Violet
  • Dark Denim
  • Slate
  • Night Plum
  • Midnight

Also featured in this collection is the New Defining Liner for Lips, a wood clenched lip liner pencil with a built-in sharpener in the lid. Genius! This pencil also has a precision point that can be used to draw a thick or more defined line. Available in three shades:

  • Cider
  • Pomegranate
  • Sugared Fig

We will also see shades of the new High Impact Lip Colour SPF 15 and Blushwear Cream Stick in this collection.

  3. I work at a lancome counter at a department store. Clinique just received the testers for these products! The pomegrante lip liner is beautiful. I don’t care for the eye shadow colors but I do very much dislike cliniques eye shadows (way too sheer for my taste) there are two colors I like – the two purple shades. I tried the high impact lipstick – rosette with the pomegrante – and it looked lovely. The lipstick feels good on the lips also!

    I may be going out on a limb by asking you for promotional help through your blog, but I hope you find ColorMeGorgeous.com to be as news worthy/helpful as I perceive it to be. There’s still a lot of work to be done with it, but I’m working on it. It’s hard to compete when you’re a small fish in a huge sea with huge sites like MUA and the likes, but I do what I can :) My favorite part of the site is the ‘critic’s corner’ where members can review or read up on various product reviews for makeup and skincare. Then there’s always the forum, the photo gallery, the ask a makeup artist page, etc.
