An arrow through our heart

We’re conflicted about Valentine’s Day.

It continues to roll around every year, like it or not, filling the aisles of our local markets with poorly-made stuffed bears (looking sad and lonely, begging someone to ‘Be Mine’) and crazy amounts of packaged candy hearts. While we feel guilty for contributing to the ridiculousness of it all, we still find ourself secretly wishing for a teeny, tiny, little Valentine from our Valentine.

Be My Valentine

Like this Perfectly Pink Lip Gloss Palette from 3 Custom Color Specialists (we had the opportunity to watch them pour these palettes at their studio in New York—they’re truly hand poured with care!), Philosophy Kiss Me Valentine Lip Duo that includes glosses in both Sugar Cookie and Raspberry Sorbet or this adorable little heart-covered silk pouch by Zazendi.

Or, if he doesn’t fancy any of this stuff, we would certainly welcome something like this:

Tiffany Platinum Braided Band Ring

A platinum braided band ring from Tiffany’s. (*Ahem*, size 6.)

If all else fails, we’ll settle for a soy latte from Starbucks and a kiss on the cheek.

  1. All the lippies look lovely but I would say yes please to that ring anyday! What a beautiful bauble that is! *Bling bling*. And it’s Tiffany’s- ahh *swoons* I hope to someday receive that little blue box.

  2. The last option doesn’t sound bad!
