CHANEL Sublimage, miracle of miracles

Julia and Erika in NYC

It’s hard to tell in this photo, but hiding behind these jet lagged, puffy eyes and crows feet is THE happiest skin I’ve had in a long time (and typically my skin is pretty happy).

The night before we snapped this self-portrait, Julia offered to share her sample of CHANEL Sublimage Essential Regenerating Cream with me. I should add here that I’m no stranger to the Sublimage line—I’ve been using the luxurious Sublimage Eye Cream for several months now (very sparingly, as I know the world will come to an end when we run out)—but for the LOVE OF MY BEAUTY BLOGGING FRIENDS, why did I not know how miraculous this product is?!

CHANEL Sublimage Essential Regenerating Cream

Less than six hours after applying CHANEL Sublimage Essential Regenerating Cream, I awoke to skin so impossibly glorious, I assumed I was still asleep and in the midst of the best dream I’d had all year.

Before you excuse yourself to go throw up—let me just say one thing: The price tag of this cream will not deter me; I will sell a kidney before I go another day without it.

(Also, I just heard from my friends at Bergdorf Goodman that a serum is soon to be released. I may as well just schedule the harvesting surgery now!)

  • You both don’t look jet-lagged at all! The serum sounds great, looking forward to trying it!

  • Have been dying for someone to enable me (as if I needed much encouragement) to try this eye cream. Quick, I have to go buy someone a Xmas present so I can get a present for me! And oh God, now serum too? *flails*

  • Putting on Sublimage cream always makes my skin look like I’ve been taking hits of oxygen! Seriously, it comes alive. Worth every penny (but if you can score a sample jar, it’ll last a month or two). Don’t be afraid to put this on in the morning under foundation–glows!

  • LOL we’re all trying to justify treating ourselves with this one. I say we should just go ahead with it!

  • Oh holy moly! As much as I’d love to try this, I just don’t think I can justify $350 a pop for this jar of miracles!

  • GIRLS, YOU LOOK FABULOUS!!EXCUSE ME WHILE I SEARCH THE NET FOR SAMPLE OR DISCOUNTED JAR. BEFORE I GO, JUST LET ME SAY THAT I TRIED CREME DE LA MER LOOKING FOR A MIRACLE WITH EVERY APPLICATION. I DON’T KNOW. BUT I USUALLY SWEAR BY ANYTHING OLAY, CUCUMBER MASKS & BORGHESE MUD. WORKS FOR ME BUT AGAIN, YOU LOOK MAH-VELOUS!!!!!

  • Hi Erika, I’m interested in this Sublimage line especially the night cream, but since it’s in the same price range as La Mer and Natura Bisse, which all have high reputation, please let us know your thoughts on which cream you would prefer. I’ve ran out on night cream and desparately need to get something soon. I’d like to hear your opinion and approval before I buy. Thank you!

  • I am on my 5th jar! This cream (and eye cream, serum not necessary for me) is simply fabulous. I cringe every time I run out and have spent more than the $375 & tax on other creams that MIGHT work as well, are very nice, but do not give me the results of Sublimage Essential, i.e. lifting the drooping jaw line. This has been caputured in a before and after photo, but for me highly visible results took about 1/2 jar. I do object to the excessive but beautiful packaging but have come to terms with it by now and will keep buying this cream for as long as I can manage.
