Happy Veteran’s Day!

Hope everyone is having a great three-day weekend.

We’re currently reporting from a Disney hotel here at Walt Disney World where we’re waiting for our 5-year-old daughter to figure out we’re on east coast time.  (Meaning it’s actually 9:30 a.m., not 6:30, so she should just WAKE UP ALREADY.) (If you don’t have children, you’re probably wondering why we don’t just wake her up ourself—so we’re going to give you a little tip that might come in handy if you ever find yourself babysitting your nieces and nephews or decide to become a parent yourself: wake up a sleeping child and be prepared for an entire day of whining, crying, and overall hellish behavior that does not end. If you think we’re kidding, go ahead and give it a try sometime.)

Later today we’ll be attending the Annual International Spa Assocation (ISPA) Conference where, for the second straight year, we’ll be bringing you news and reviews from the tradeshow floor of the premier spa industry event of the year. Be sure to check back!

Now we’re off to stare down our sleeping child, sending WAKE UP ALREADY vibes her way. (Incidentally, she’s finding this vacation without her older siblings incredibly boring. We thought this would be a nice opportunity for her to enjoy some fun Disney activities and theme parks without the overbearing trio convincing her that no, she doesn’t want to ride the carousel—that’s for babies!—she wants to endure a 50 foot drop in a log-like boat and get soaked to the bone at Splash Mountain. Instead, she’s been moping around Magic Kingdom begging us to buy souvenirs for the brother and sisters she left at home.) (Poor thing.)
