MAC Painterly
The Paint Pots are here, girls. We’ve been waiting all year for these. No joke.

A lighter formula than the original Paints, these cream eye shadows practically adhere to the skin, creating light coverage that is waterproof, crease-proof, and lasts for hours and hours.
Our life will not be complete until we have each and every color:
- Greenstroke Frosted mint green with gold pearl (Frost)
- Blackground Frosted smoky black grey with multi-coloured pearl (Frost)
- Moss Scape Green with gold pearl (Frost)
- Bare Study Champagne with gold and white pearl (Frost)
- Groundwork Mid-tone neutral taupe (Satin)
- Rubenesque Mid-tone frosted golden peach with gold and pink pearl (Frost)
- Indianwood Metallic antique bronze (Frost)
- Constructivist Metallic dark brown with subtle red pearl (Frost)
- Artifact Dark burgundy with red pearl (Frost)
- Fesco Rose Mid-tone pink with matching pearl (Frost)
- Delft Deep teal with gold pearl (Frost)
- Painterly Nude beige (Cream)
Painterly also brings us Technakohl Liners, a new mechanical-style eye liner pencil:
- Photogravure Soft black with brown undertone
- Plank Milk chocolate brown with brown pearl
- Antiquity Rich olive green with green pearl
- Archival Faded royal blue
- Foxtail Metallic plum with red pearl
- Steelpoint Charcoal with silver pearl
Painterly joins IN 3D on Thursday at all MAC locations and maccosmetics.com.

I can’t wait to go and test these out. Indian Wood and Groundwork both look interesting….

I’m looking forward the trying Indianwood and Delft.
Vermeer is one of my favourite painters, and Delft being his hometown, I hope this color resembles the beautiful blue he used in his paintings.

I love Paints (they really do stick, even in the humid environment I live in!); can’t wait to try this new formula. I can’t tell if I love MAC so much because of their products or their AD’s!

The green in the picture looks great, I assume it’s Greenstroke. I like Delft and Artifact. I am not sure Artifact looks that good on me, but I still like it.

great minds think alike! I just blogged about these myself! I got Delft during Novel Twist’s release and I’m not sure I entirely like these pots! I do want to see the colors in person out of curiosity if any will appeal to me

Finally a collection worth investing in!! I was so psyched that these finally came out. I think I’ll be heading over to my nearest MAC counter and picking up Rubenesque (and a few other items from the 3D collection) this weekend. I’m sure the hubby will be thrilled. lol

I’ve got Indianwood and Painterly already… They definitely apply better with a synthetic brush such as MAC’s 242.
