I’ve never liked Great Lash mascara. Goes to show, that in some cases, you really do get what you pay for.

I love the Shiny-licious lip gloss in Sugar Plum (kind of a brown-based pink). I have black hair, dark eyes, and pale skin so its hard to find a color that I can wear during daylight hours that won’t make me look ill. The only complaint is that it is very, very sticky/tacky. But I got used to that with time. The stickiness also helps it stay put for longer than most glosses.

The only Maybelline product that I have ever liked is their XXL Mascara, I swear that made my lashes longer and added more volume to them. I’ve heard people say it gives them clumps. But I love this mascara. I dislike their glosses though.

I haven’t found the Great Lash mascara works that well, either, but I have one in Royal Blue, since it’s cheap and I don’t want to spend a ton on blue mascara! I didn’t like the Shiny-Licious gloss I tried either, but it was just because I didn’t like the smell. Maybelline Pure Makeup is my favorite foundation, though, so I love them for that!!

What a coincidence! I had the same problem with Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. I just can’t understand why everyone loves it so much.

But so far, Maybelline Sky High Curves and Lash Expansion have worked really well for me. Not so much in the thickened lashes department but they holded curls very, very well.

Erika - I wanted to thank you for my MAC eyeshadow; I rec’d it and had to admire it’s beauty in the package but finally tore into it today and the shadow goes on beautifully, not to mention the gorgeous color! I am definately hitting my local MAC counter this weekend to add to the collection. Thanks again!

i don’t like it either!! i don’t like the brush and i don’t like the formula! though, i do like their re-vamped eye shadow quads. they actually DO last now!
