Paintbrushes and makeup brushes are pretty much the same, just packaged differently; many are made with the exact same fibers, such as Taklon, Sable or Nylon fibers. I've been using paint brushes as makeup brushes for years and I always wince when I see cosmetics companies selling $5-$10 paintbrushes for $20-$50. I swear, the best lip brush I've ever used is a Loew-Cornell Golden Taklon #2 Filbert that I got for a few bucks! No need to spend $35 on this brush, ladies…just head down to your local art and craft supply store and check out the fan brushes!
