Lip Glaze Stick

Stila Lip Glaze Stick

Yesterday, while shopping in Vancouver B.C. we found another product we can’t believe we glossed over before: Stila Lip Glaze Sticks.

These pencils come in the same moisturizing formula of the original Stila Lip Glazes, but with longer lasting color and a little extra shimmer.

Perfect for stocking stuffers, we picked up Grapefruit, Starfruit and Vanilla and now can’t decide which one we’ll keep for ourself. We love them all!

Oh Canada!

This week we are staying at the Semiahmoo Resort in Washington celebrating Christmas with our husband’s family where Vancouver B.C is just a hop, skip and a jump away.

Vancouver is our favorite place to shop for beauty products. There’s something thumping about this city that makes us look at things in a different light. Suddenly that eyeshadow we’ve seen a dozen times before but never gave a second glance has transformed into a glistening must-have that we can not leave the country without.

Chanel Quadra EyeshadowToday’s victim was Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow in Sparkling Satins [not the color shown here.] We’ve always thought this eyeshadow quad was beautiful, but today? Today we saw it in Canada, which means the colors were just a little more pure. And precise. And perfect. (Because Canada will do that to you.)

And we imagined how pretty our eyes would be with the smoky-black shadow lining our lashes and the sparkling pink shadow highlighting our brow bone.

And we almost cried when they told us that not only would they NOT be getting the Spring 2007 Collection until the end of January, but they were sold out of the eyeshadow quad we wanted. Gah!

Happily, we found Sparkling Satins at the Duty Free Shop on our way back over the border and reassured ourself that it’s not even Christmas yet, so there’s no sense getting all worked up about springtime makeup.

Not that it makes waiting any easier.

Doing what we do best

The thing is… we just can’t stop buying exfoliators.Shiseido Bio-Performance Super Exfoliating Discs

We could exfoliate day and night for the next three years and still have enough product to last us through retirement. But just in case, we thought we would stock up on these Shiseido Bio-Performance Super Exfoliating Discs that gently exfoliate, refine and polish skin to visibly minimize fine lines and pores.

These dual-sided discs are to be used once weekly after cleansing (you’ll be tempted to use them more often, but please don’t. Your skin needs time to rejuvenate and repair itself after this treatment.)

Shiseido suggests that you combine these discs with Bio-Performance Super Refining Essence but so far we haven’t. This unique exfoliant has been working just fine for us on its own.

Now, no more exfoliators for us. This time we mean it.

Vanilla Spice Quartet Gift

Gift sets for the holiday are definitely the way to go.

Not only do they pack a huge value, but they give the receiver an opportunity to try a range of products that they otherwise wouldn’t.

The Body Shop has some great holiday gift sets like this Vanilla Spice Quartet Gift with Body Butter, Shimmer Body Lotion, Soap, and Lip Balm in the yummy Vanilla Spice scent.

There isn’t a girl out there that wouldn’t want this under her tree.
