The Madonna of Cleansers
Ever since our mom took us to the Lancome counter in ninth grade and treated us to our first REAL skincare regimen (Ablutia Gel Cleanser, Tonique Douceur, Clarifiance Moisturizer) we have realized the benefits of taking good care of our skin.
Many years and many, MANY products later, La Roche-Posay’s Biomedic Purifying Cleanser stands out to us as the leader in facial cleansers. With glycolic acid, vitamin E and antioxidants, this gentle cleanser deeply cleans pores while improving the texture and tone of skin.
If you’re prone to breakouts or would like to brighten your skin, this cleanser is for you.
Unfortunately, this product can only be purchased through your dermatologists office.
Biomedic Purifying Cleanser by La Roche-Posay, Approximately $30 (Prices vary)

[...] So as we were saying, we take our skincare regime very seriously. Each product that we use has a specific job to do on our face, and we are careful to use each accordingly. For example, on the mornings we exfoliate, we don’t use our toner with salicylic acid because that’s too harsh for our skin. On the nights we use our kojic acid skin lightening gel, we skip the Creme de la Mer because it doesn’t absorb properly over the kojic acid product. However, we still need to use a rich moisturizer, so we opt for something less expensive, like Clinique’s Total Turnaround Visible Skin Renewer. Now if we decide to use a vitamin-C complex, then scratch the kojic acid. And if we don’t exfoliate, then we use our favorite cleanser with glycolic acid. And if we’re feeling lucky, we click through and are told we’re a loser because Hello? That promotion ended three days ago. [...]
